Achuzat Sarah is a children's home in Bnei Brak for children with exceptionally challenging family situations. For a number of years, students from Yeshivat Har Etzion have traveled in groups to spend Shabbat in the home and this important program is now under the umbrella of CTL. Read more.

 

Keshet School in Jerusalem

Based in Jerusalem, Keshet is a unique school for students from religious and irreligious families. With the help of CTL, Nadav Eshel '09H, an alumnus of Keshet now studying in Yeshivat Har Etzion, has spearheaded an initiative to strengthen Torah learning for members of his old school. Garinei Ayala

CTL is proud to support "Garinei Ayala", an educational initiative of Migdal Oz alumna Tamar (Manzura) Gigi (MO 5766). Netivot Women's Beit Midrash

The exciting phenomenon of new learning opportunities being created for women has been a growing trend in recent years. However, for women living far away from major population centers such as Yerushalayim, Gush Etzion and Ra'anana, such opportunities are either very limited or involve traveling long distances, which does not always fit in with work, studying or family schedules. Chotam Women's Beit Midrash

The Chotam Summer Beit Midrash Program for Women, under the auspices of Rav Yosef Tzvi Rimon is located in the Sephardi Shul of Alon Shevut. For the third year running, the program received a significant boost from five Migdal Oz students and alumnae who, as part of a CTL Fellowship, learnt full-time in the Beit Midrash. Read More.

 

Tanach Shiurim in Jerusalem

 

Congregation "Masuat Shalom" is a young community in Yerushalayim, with about eighty families. After recently constructing the Beit Kenesset, the community has set itself the aim of opening itself as a center of Torah and prayer to the general public in the neighborhood. Read more.

 

Operation Pillar of Defense

During this challenging period - under a range of rockets from Gaza - a number of CTL volunteers travelled tom Be'er Sheva and surrounding towns in order to entertain children in shelters, show solidarity with those under fire and contribute as best they could towards the national effort. Read more.
