2nd Annual Conference for Alumni in Chinuch and the Rabbinate

CONF 2013 MAIN PHOTO FOR LINK-webFor the second year running, in conjunction with the annual Dinner, the Yeshiva hosted a two-day conference for alumni in Chinuch and the Rabbinate. The conference was once more proudly supported and coordinated by CTL, with over 50 participants enjoying the array of Shiurim, sessions and discussions.

This year, we were pleased to welcome alumnae of the Stella K. Abraham Beit Midrash for Women at Migdal Oz who are professionally involved in Chinuch, as well as wives of alumni who are involved in the field, to participate in all parts of the conference.

Participants were fortunate to spend time and learn from all four Rashei Yeshiva, as well as Rosh Beit Midrash, Mrs. Esti Rosenberg. Alumni Mrs. Dena Block, Rabbi Nasanayl Braun, Rabbi Rafi Eis, Rabbi Chaim Marcus and Rabbi Dr. Aaron Ross took active roles in the panel discussions, as did Rabbi Moshe Taragin and Rabbi Doniel Schreiber. Rabbi Hershel Billet, Rabbi Yaacov Lerner and Rabbi Elchanan Weinbach shared from their knowledge and experience and Rabbi Dr. Michael Rosensweig gave a Shiur in honor of Rav Aharon Lichtenstein as we paid tribute to him in celebration of his eightieth birthday.

Beyond the formal schedule, the conference created an important opportunity for the participants to connect with each other, the Yeshiva, its Rashei Yeshiva and Ramim. It has now become a highlight of the CTL year and we look forward to its continued growth and development in the years to come.
