Rav Moshe
Aberman [YHE '77]
has taught at Yeshivat Har Etzion since 1985. He was on
sabbatical in Chicago for the 97 and 98 academic years, serving as
Rosh Kollel of the Torah Mi'Tzion Kollel. He received his Semicha
from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, and a BA
degree in Psychology and an MA degree in Education, from Yeshiva
University. He has previously taught at Machon Gold and Nishmat in
Jerusalem.

Rav Amnon Bazak studied at the Netiv Meir
Yeshiva High School in Jerusalem and then came to study at Yeshivat
Har Etzion. In the context of the Hesder Program, he served in the
military rabbinate, and has received Semicha and earned a Bachelor
of Education degree from the Herzog College. Rav Bazak served as a
Ram at Netiv Meir Yeshiva High School and since 1999, as a Ram in
Yeshivat Har Etzion. Likewise, he teaches Tanach at the Herzog
College and at the SKA Beit Midrash for Women in Migdal Oz,
and edits the weekly journal Shabbat BeShabbato, as
well as other books. He authored the 2 volume sefer, Nekudat Peticha -
short studies in peshuto shel mikra arranged by order
of parsha, based on his column in Shabbat BeShabbato, as
well as Makbilot Nifgashot, highlighting literary parallels
in Sefer Shmuel. |

Rav Ezra
Bick, a Ram at Yeshivat Har
Etzion since his aliya from New York in 1977, currently teaches a
second-year shiur for Israeli students. He is Director of the
Yeshiva's Israel Koschitzky Virtual Beit Midrash Project, with more
than 20 shiurim on varying levels reaching tens of thousands of
individuals worldwide. Rav Bick earned his Semicha from the
Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, and holds an M.S.
degree in Jewish Philosophy from YU and a M. Phil. degree in
Philosophy from Columbia University. He is the author of
Yud-Gimel Middot Shel Rachamim [hebrew], 10 shiurim on the
human condition and man's relationship with the Ribbono Shel
Olam.

Rav Pini
Cohen first came to the
yeshiva as a talmid in the Midreshet Torah veAvoda [MTA] program in
1994. Rav Pini earned his Semicha from the Rabbanut, and holds a
degree in Business Management and Psychology from the University of
South Africa, as well as a B.Ed. from the Herzog College. Rav Pini
currently teaches Gemara, Hashkafa and Halacha to the South African
and Australian talmidim. He has also been teaching at the Gush
Etzion Regional Elementary School for the past ten
years. |

Rav Yair Kahn, [YHE '77] head of the Overseas Students Program,
has been a Ram at Yeshivat Har Etzion since 1987. He teaches an
Israeli shiur, one into which the Overseas students integrate
comfortably. Rav Kahn has been the coordinator of the Virtual Beit
Midrash Gemara Iyun Shiur for several years. Originally from
NY, Rav Kahn studied at Chaim Berlin, Yeshiva University, and
Yeshivat Har Etzion. Rav Kahn is also the editor of the
Shiurei Hagrid series published by the Toras Horav
Foundation and Mossad Harav Kook. |

Rav Elyakim Krumbein came on aliya from New York in 1973 following his studies at
Yeshiva College, joining the Kollel at Yeshivat Har Etzion. He has
been teaching at Yeshiva since 1981, currently heading the Tochnit
Bekiut. He also served as a Pedagogic Advisor at the Herzog College,
supervising the fieldwork of third-year Herzog College students. Rav
Krumbein's guides for self-study on the Bavot, Ketubot and other
Massechtot are widely used by Yeshiva students and alumni. He is the
author of Sho'el K'inyan, two volumes of study guides on Gittin and
Kiddushin. He recently published Musar for Moderns (KTAV),
an introductory course in musar for the contemporary
Jew. |

Rav Menachem Leibtag [YHE '77] headed the Overseas Program at Yeshivat Har
Etzion for over a decade, after completing the Hesder Program and
studies at Machon Lev, the Jerusalem College of Technology. His
Tanach classes at Yeshiva, emphasizing biblical theme and structure,
have opened his students' eyes to new dimensions within the text,
while transmitting a deeper appreciation of Torah values. He was
instrumental in creating the Yeshiva's Virtual Beit Midrash, which
today reaches tens of thousands of readers worldwide, and then
initiated the Tanach Study Center, his own comprehensive program for
the study of Tanach on the Internet. He also teaches at Midreshet
Lindenbaum and Sha'alvim. |

Rav Doniel Schreiber [YHE '86] has been a Ram at Yeshivat Har
Etzion since 1994. He has Semicha from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan
Theological Seminary and an MA in Medieval Jewish History from the
Bernard Revel Graduate School. Rabbi Schreiber also lectures
regularly in halacha in the community of Alon Shevut, and has been
delivering a weekly evening halacha shiur to men and women in
Jerusalem since 1997, first at Kehillat Moriah until 2003, and then
at the Hildesheimer Shul until the present. He is the author of an
Internet shiur entitled "The Laws of Shabbat" for the Israel
Koschitzky Virtual Beit Midrash, has published articles in various
books and Torah journals, and has served as scholar-in-residence in
various communities in Israel, the United States, and South Africa.
His shiurim emphasize reaching a clear halachic conclusion while
showcasing the dynamic and conceptual system of halacha as it
emerges from the gemara, rishonim, and poskim. Rabbi Schreiber and
his wife, together with their eight children, live in Alon
Shevut. |

Rav Binyamin Tabory a Ram at Yeshivat Har
Etzion since 1979, received Semicha and a Master's in Jewish
Philosophy from Yeshiva University. Rav Tabory previously served as
Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Bnei Akiva High School in Toronto. He was
the founding Rosh Kollel of the Torah Mitzion Kollel in Cleveland,
the first Zionist Kollel in North America. In addition to his
fourth-year shiur for Israeli students at the Yeshiva, he also
taught for many years at Midreshet Moriah in Jerusalem. Rav
Tabory authored a weekly shiur for the Israel Koschitzky
Virtual Beit Midrash on The Weekly Mitzva, and
gives a weekly shiur at KMTT - Ki Mitzion Teitze Torah - The
Torah Podcast, the yeshiva's mp3 Torah project in English, and at
KESHET - Kol

Rav Moshe Taragin [YHE '83] has been a Ram at Yeshivat Har Etzion in
Gush Etzion since 1994. He has Semicha from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan
Theological Seminary, a BA in Computer Science from Yeshiva College,
and an MA in English Literature from City University. Rabbi Taragin
previously taught Talmud at Columbia University, lectured in Talmud
and Bible at the IBC and JSS divisions of Yeshiva University, and
served as Assistant Rabbi at the Fifth Avenue
Synagogue.
In addition, Rabbi
Taragin currently teaches at the Stella K. Abraham Beit Midrash for
Women of Yeshivat Har Etzion in Migdal Oz in Gush Etzion. He is the
author of an Internet shiur entitled "Talmudic Methodology" with
over 5,000 subscribers, and authors an audio shiur for
KMTT - Ki Mitzion

Rav Daniel Wolf [YHE '75] has been teaching at
Yeshivat Har Etzion since 1983. He received his Semicha from the
Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, his Bachelor's degree in
Mathematics from Yeshiva University and an M.Sc. degree in
Operations Research from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute. He also
conducts seminars and private consultations helping (needy and
other) Israeli families manage their finances, especially
mortgages. Rav Wolf has combined his unique economics and
halachic expertise to develop a special perspective on
ribbit and other financial-halachic issues. Consequently he
is available for halakhic consultations for ribbit issues in legal
contracts.
Rav Wolf has
also developed a special curriculla for teaching gemara, including a
multi-year program teaching central topics of the talmud. In two
areas (Seder Nashim and Taharot) his students have
written and published (under his supervision and guidance) well
received books based on those lectures, Mincha LeAharon,
and Mincha Tehora, respectively. Taharot is a specialty not
generally learned in yeshivot and Rav Wolf has delved into
this area and has developed an exceptional forte in this challenging
area. |
